With reacon, it was mostly used by snipers to have infinite access to remote locations nowhere near objectives, and the only ones who spawned there were other snipers, because what the fuck anyone else would want to spawn there. And with the beacon, they’d sit there all game long and you couldn’t do anything. So it was used by the worst type of players (sorry, snipers) and bred even more of them.

Nowadays people actually place it near objectives and it fulfils its potential - it’s the best gadget in the game.

I am severely utterly disappointed with this game. After 11 years of playing Battlefield titles I have never experienced so much stress playing a video game. There is core issues that can be shown in the mixed reviews of this game but I gave my favorite series a try anyway. There is constant bugs, crashes, audio bugs, weapon bugs, net-code issues, server side lag, inability to see anything due to poor graphics aka bad implementation of TAA and FSR (the game is either extremely blurry or extremely pixelated) and no option for simple FXAA or MSAA) and DICE had more than enough time for fix some of these core issues. I have gigabit internet and use the best weapon to no avail. I've been playing shooters for 15 years of my life on this planet and I've never felt scammed every time I died, re spawned, tried to play again. Realizing this took more than 2 hours (it is a big game) Single player campaign is to say the least, EXTREMELY forgettable, the implementation of BR is also extremely boring. Everything about this game is dull and numb.
I sincerely never asked for anything in my life as a poor person and I've been stomped and walked over multiple times, but not like this. This game isn't fun. It's anti-fun. I The reason I have higher than 2 hours in this game because I left it on to farm bot XP to unlock weapons because of the poor implementation of attachments and unlocking of said attachments that make the weapons semi-usable, as by default you are guaranteed to die that I can't help but feel I've been "scammed".

Disable discord overlay and steelseries moments if you have it. If it persists look into something like vencord that can disable the 3 dots that appears when people type. It's a known issue that can spike cpu usage for some dumb reason.

Depends on th weapon, and upgrade path. But its the same for carbines and ARs. Weapons like the SCW10 or MP5 are lasers. SCW IIRC is the highest DPS weapon for CQC.

Other weapons are good too, but it depends on playstyle. Im run and gun...so LMGs, DMRs and bolt actiosn are basically unused by me (Unless I find a good KTS1000/L110 and upgrade kits for it)

SMG wise in the BR...I have a much better time when using a longer range sight on them...as the upgrade tunes them for better accuracy
