class specific weapons such as Smgs, LMGs, assault rifles, and rifles. Then allow EVERYONE to use shotguns, carbines, DMRs

an engineer with access to LMGs or rifles is just busted and they proved that on firestorm

Carbines in theory probably would have also been wiped out in open weapons by ARs, though carbines in beta where arguably better than SMGs at what one would expect to be SMG ranges. Hell, the M4A1 was basically the best CQB gun in the game outside of the shotgun

The population is not what it used to be but youll still find full servers.
I would say the same with BF3 and BF4, play 1 or more of the past games to see how they were and then think about getting bf6.
I would still say to people to not pre order and just see how launch goes, historically BF doesnt have good launches and its best to wait or it to calm down

They have a playlist for closed weapons. Call me Weird but open class weapons is a nice addition. In the last battlefields I always wanted to use an smg as a medic since I was rushing with the squad together. I find it interesting because lot's of tactics come out too if you think about it
