I think the biggest issue with specialists in battlefield was that they completely removed the creativity of class gadgets. Classes could mix and match gadgets to make a combo preferably set with a specific kit of perks. Made combat feel unique with whatever you were rocking

Inmo assault has enough going for it. Powerful stun grenades and gadgets, Two main weapons, Deploy beacon, ladder. temporary increased speed, explosive and stun resistance. I dont think we need another battlefield were assault is the only class to play. Adding heals would just be another one man army situation imo. At least support has teamplay gadgets and buffs related to assisting teammates. Even the mortar and airburst launcher dont look like they do much, more area denial gadgets than anything else.
