Linux these days is pretty good actually, that's mostly thanks to Steam making Proton widely available (Proton is a compatibility layer that lets you run Windows games on Linux. SteamOS is based on Arch so that's why they made it.)

If the campaign is VERY polished and well made then I would rather it be set in BF6 time. A janky rushed looking experience is too common in a BF6 setting. It can honestly get boring after a while JUST hearing the in game audio. Like even if it's insanely immersive there comes a point where the only way you can keep playing is to listen to music
