maps are size of my yard, jets/helis terrible, resupply stations worthless, map design terrible ( no sandbox, no large scale, constant funnel into specific spots of the map for fighting), lackluster vehicle arsenal in general (no little birds, no rush specific vehicles, no himars, transport helis not needed since maps are small), game modes like breakthrough turned into narrow meat grinder in every god damn map. Gunplay and movement is kinda nice though cant lie, guns look cool and sound awesome, all I need is to see how TV missile works for heli, if its garbage its a skip for me, if its good I might snatch bf6 at sale

Thinking for yourself is solid advice. Battlefield has never been super competitive some sweat more than others sure. I dont see why it would need to be competitive either. I am sure most battlefield fans have had their locked in moments but at the end of the day can just stand on a flag and your doing something. Thats a big part of the charm of battlefield in my eyes no matter what day you had can always lunch battlefield and just play dont have to be in a certain adrenaline rush. Plenty of ways to play and have fun. I dont enjoy pvp games much these days battlefield is the exception probably for this reason. I feel you

As massive teams have failed in the past splitting them up to focus on strong points as appose to no one knowing who did what or were what went. Keeping things tight and consise works much better. Most Devs I have talked to have endless frustrations with finished work/progress getting halted by reviewing processes and going from one higher up to another in the approval loop. So this probably is far less frustrating of an environment to work in and get this done. At least in theory

I think the main reason I have an immense dislike for battle royales is they generally feel like more random, larger, tedious, and less intricately designed arena shooters

destiny was not alright imo. the base launch of that game was laughable. It only became good after tons of dlc and even after that dlc it wasn't remotely what was promised by the initial game.

It's still a solid game, I love the raids. But the promise they gave with destiny 12 years ago still isn't fulfilled to this day.

Not saying I dislike what we inevitably got after all the dlc and such mind you (if you get it bundled it's a solid looter shooter, and the end game is fun I've played every single raid to deep stone crypt).

It’s done by a separate dev team and you can cut out sections of the BR map and add them to the map rotation on Portal servers. It’s literally enhancing the normal multiplayer considering one of those sections is just a remastered Canals map.

Unless theres the ping limit for lag compensation, FPS games play mostly smooth

You'll win some gunfights you shouldnt have, because you turn corners before the server processes that info for other players. But you also have delayed damage hits and get shot around corners more

It’s a good idea to be honest, I been talking about a ‘Seige’ game mode for years now. So, attackers have more tickets, vehicles, but defenders have stronger defences. Attackers, attack from north, east, south, west. Defenders hold in a onion ring type of defence, while, attackers make their way towards the centre. Fighting intensifies, with each ring of the defence taken, defenders can retake positions, of the ring of objectives get smaller and smaller with defences tightening until the centre is taken.

A game mode I wanna see if something like conquest or just TDM, but it starts in the middle of the map with infantry only, then as the tickets get reduced(or on a set timer) the map opens up backwards kind of like rush but in both directions for both teams. New area then spawns transport vehicles. After some time, it will open up more of the map but with light armor. After that would be heavy armor and MBT, then lastly it would give helis and jets. This is what I was hoping Escalation would be like.

Oh and to top it all off, theres twice the amount of vehicles.

with the added system where vehicle ammo is no longer unlimited, keeping the logistic chain alive will matter more especially having those supplies with you now rather than going back to resupply

I think the best way for DICE to advertise and ‘focus’ us on a new game mode such as ‘escalation’ - they should of made it free to play during pre-release. Otherwise, soon as conquest and breakthrough come out 80% of the addicts will just return to the same game modes lol.

I was thinking vehicles might be like the BF1 Behemoth and each tier of vehicles gets awarded to the losing side after a set amount of tickets, but the winning side gets a point for that "round" which contributes to the final end game score. That way if a team is doing good as infantry, they could potentially have the upper hand somewhat until things like light and heavy armor arrive. It still rewards good players with having an increasing challenge while also giving the losing side an opportunity the obsoletely kick their shit with vehicles and mow them all down.

I even though just now adding an extra tier just to get class equipment. Everyone starts off with a primary and secondary weapon and melee.

And yeah, if players with tanks are bad shots and waste their ammo then they could lose that slight advantage. Makes it so the crutch is a massive boon but in the wrong hands is worthless if you dont know how to utilize it

The persistent mode sounds great, it would add lore, depth and meaning to factions - this has always been an issue. Belligerence, factions, in battlefield always means nothing. In the main menu you can see W L D of NATO & PAX factions or, percentage of domination as per region as the gentlemen explained.

PLATOONS now become more relevant, every player becomes relevant. As players, clans, friendship groups, and individuals can align with a faction contributing to the overall success, which also gives passive bonuses for collective efforts.

I think it might have to do with lighting. Also the BR map is outside during midday with open skies in souther California. Liberation Peak is own a rural snowy mountain, Cairo has the Mexico film filter on all of the buildings since its the desert, the Gibraltar map I can never remember has a sky full of smoke, and Empire State has the Sun blocked out for most of the map which makes it look darker

I can't really comment on BR or Extraction Royale because I never really played them much, there's nothing interesting to me about knowing you're eventually gonna die and then have to go back in queue, I want a Plunder style game mode because I enjoy the aspect of going on an adventure, every match is pretty much that, you spend about half an hour traveling to different places with teammates, completing objectives, killing other players, defending yourself and just having a good time, it's pretty much my version of Conquest that is more fun, vast, and more personal, every match is a new adventure

The entire moveset in bf4 had higher APM and faster pacing than anything in bf6, even the usecase for bf4 movement has been significally better in 4 than any movement in 6
