csgo technically also has bloom but its guns have more fixed patterns that for its initial shots it's controllable

Yeah, that's sort of the problem with assault class imo. It's sort of not a specialist role so deciding on gadgets becomes difficult due to how generic J. Doe the class is. It's sort of like the average rifleman in some militaries where their sole task is to put red dot on target and pull trigger.

A server browser is way more affective than standardized matchmaking and makes the consumer choice a lot higher in playing something more specific rather than just a blanket version of matchmaking. It also fixes the time to match which they’ve said is their highest priority in matchmaking. But if you can just select whatever map and mode, ping based, and region of players. BF4 was a prime example of how good the matchmaking was.

It's funny how open weapons turn every class with snipers into a major inbalance except for the one class they were actually designed for

• support: snipers tower camping while supplying themselves with ammo and health

• engineers: snipers tower camping and blowing up tanks from unreachable areas for tanks

• assault: snipers tower camping and pulling out a shotgun when you try to approach their spawn beacon enforced camping spot

• recon: well I guess they have C4 and can spot enemies which are already spotted via the games' constant auto spotting
