I really think EA should collaborate with local national telecom providers to implement real-name registration for games. This would include mobile phone verification, ID authentication, and motherboard serial number registration. Mobile devices should also require fingerprint and facial recognition. That way, when a player cheats, EA can notify the local telecom authority, and the player would face penalties.
This measure is the only way to significantly reduce the number of cheating players.

for games, well the main reason is hardware restrictions, in order to be able to isolate this type of thing you need a minimum floor of TPM being a forced requirement, now, that is a problem because not every pc has a TPM header on the motherboard or a CPU implementation which mirrors it, ultimately it is a cost vs balance situation, valorant is infamous for going the opposite route where vanguard is a _selling point _ for people to play the game (and advertised at that), for example it goes so far as to mandate IOMMU being enabled which allows detection for DMA devices, and it's rather proud of it, ricochet didn't do this for years because a large portion of their playerbase are on systems which are lower than these requirements, in javelins case battlefield is a silver lining because a game hasn't launched with a anticheat in particular like this, so it's easier to say hey you need xyz hardware to be able to play as the minimum floor doesn't exist

Yeahh the cheating scene has unfortunately evolved to the point where having rootkit-like anticheats is now more or less a requirement if you want to suppress cheating, normal kernel-mode AC's don't even cut it anymore... The only AC's worth their salt currently is Vanguard and Faceit, hopefully Javelin will be able to join the ranks of those. But we'll see

People still cheat in Valorant and Faceit obviously, but the goal is to reduce the amount of people able to cheat in the games, not stop it entirely (because that is impossible)

And once a target is lazed, anyone from anywhere (as long as they r in range) can shoot it. That's what I meant by saying any direction, since it's indicated where the lock is coming from

With that being said, I actually managed in bf6 to lock on a heli using the jets guided missile bc it was lazed

Eh, fair, I'd just like the SOFLAM to be more viable. You have a very valid point in that it necessitates teamwork (which is unfortunately rather rare in this field) to be effective.

I'm a slight reconnaissance addict so maybe I am being unreasonable.

Tbf I wouldn't shy away from giving a certain score for designating a target in the first place, so at least you have some incentive to use it even if the team doesn't act on it. Not saying you should get the equivalent of a kill for designating a target, but like 25-30 points would be a decent incentive to my brain.

use teammates as informational tools above all else, and if someone is actually pulling their weight I can start to rely on them actually holding down some semblance of security and being able to clear space by themselves

Thinking smarter, also, remember to defend a flag just after capturing - especially if it’s a middle or, near enemy main spawn objective. Far to often, players run off an objective for the enemy to walk straight onto it and recapture. I for most part, always tell my squad after capture hold for 50 tickets or 5/10mins before moving onto the next one. It’s easier to defend an objective then have to recap it. Also, I always tend to go for the objectives which the team doesn’t like to attack. Example of this is flag B on the destruction map in BF5. 90% of the team always attacks C. With a high chance of getting into a stalemate - always choose the path of least resistant🙄

Ah. I had only tried a few non-afk ones just to make sure my graveyard shift schedule did not get in the way, but after realizing how slow the XP gain was I knew I just had to get it the old fashioned way. At T45 now I believe.

I am both in agreement with removing XP farms while also understanding(such as in my example) why some people would have a good reason to do them beyond "I no want play your game."

I love 2042 for example, my reason was just concern about scheduling and getting those rewards, haha. But it really is not hard to grind that BP, you just have to play the game.

The netcode can be rocky getting into a match but is otherwise stable, the hitreg is mostly fine with the inevitable client-server issues I have always seen in games, I do not use a mouse as I am on Xbox so I cannot comment there, what delayed inputs.

The gunplay overall feels fine to me personally, but like I said, that is a personal thing. And the maps are fine to me, though some like Hourglass could use more in them instead of "here is a giant mound of sand."

I have bigger issues with CQC maps too, there is a CQC playlist with only 1 good map, Haven and Stadium are unplayable. Only Redacted is good.

Almost all BF6 maps we played however were good. Especially compared to 2042 maps.

I will actually give you Stadium, but Haven is not as bad. Stadium is a really weird breakthrough.

Haven is pretty bad. There are 20 houses with 5 windows. You can get shot from like 30 different windows at the same time.

Haven would play vastly better if there were only like 2-3 houses you can enter.

At least there is cover and maneuverability though. The courtyard after the first two points are capped are an open but still nice tug of war to push into, the last two points have one wash and a warehouse(with some outside) that is not great but not terrible to defend.

I have been doing so much Breakthrough I did not even know Haven could be played on Conquest. Yeah, that map would likely be pretty bad on Conquest.

I do not think I have done a 128 Haven Conquest, if it is even in that rotation.

If it is a server issue then fair play, I would rather it be smooth, but I have not encountered noticeable oddities in 128 myself to see it requiring the axe, unless the upgraded levelution exacerbated it.
