Whats the logic behind assault getting soawn beacon? Assault is the front line. They have 2 guns so they can contend at all ranges and have less downtime in firefights. Having them peel off to set up spawns takes them off that assault. It makes no sense.

Assault makes more sense having the medical crate and defibs, which then also has the bonus of giving support their identity back as the ammo class.

Recon getting a spec ops specialisation should surely be the person operating behind enemy lines, sabotaging incoming vehicles with c4. Interfering with infantry. Recon with carbines spawning in their little spot and backcapping is what Spec Ops should do.

Let’s clarify:

I’ve been playing BF since BC2, so quite a long time. From what I’ve witnessed all those years: most Recons tend to hide on high ground to get a few satisfying long shot (I’m fine with it, play like you want to as long as you enjoy the game). They do not initiate flanks, Assault and other classes do (if you do that’s fantastic! Your team thank you for your service).

The thing is that to capitalize on the flank, we had to respawn as Recon at some point to have a beacon.

Therefore adding the beacon to Assault makes sense to me. Simple!
