As someone who has come back to the game multiple times and started with a significantly under 1kd score each time until I get my legs back, I prefer it when battlefield mixes everyone up

So long as there’s low and high skilled players on each side but in a balance there shouldn’t be as many blowouts fingers crossed, and you learn a lot by seeing what people do

I’ve generally felt that battle royales are generally larger scale and more random arena shooters with pick ups

Arena shooters generally have 4v4 formats across multiple game modes where weapons spawn at set points on the map at set time frames consistently. Leading to both teams to contest them and play the objective

Halo is a good example of this.

Unfortunately most of the other arena shooters died since the genre is too sweaty. A lot of their mechanics got packaged into hero shooters

-lack of core leadership
-engine issues
-open world was a nightmare to make for their engine
-catering to Xbox one optimization
-hiring temporary employees rather than permanent staff leading new staff hired to replace the old staff having to relearn the engine again

-technical debt accrued from all these combined mistakes leading to the team to have to spend a year and a half debugging and fixing the game code just to get consistent content added to it post launch.

Idk their full launch equipment but recon without that beacon is literally just: I’m the info guy with this rifle (said rifle only being particular in closed playlists)

non regenerating equipment was tried in bf 5 it worked kind of as there was ammo and medic stations for resupplying but that came with its own issues making the support class less vital to the team

Support: holds teams together with ammo, cover, and health

Oh I wouldn't take away resupplying equipment using ammo support from players. Means you mix your team up supplying the squad. Just the passive regeneration.

I am glad assults lost the anti tank role. It was an issue the whole one man army thing. I feel that the assult is good in bf6 I dont know what it will look like with access to all the other weapons in game. Who knows what op combos there are but as long as they have limited ammo forcing them to stick with the team it should be fine

I had games where there was just grenade / incendiary spamm going on. I'm just not a fan of Gadget spamming.
Bit more tactical I value.

the stims never gave healing, just increased movement speed, less dmg from explosions and something to do with hearing
