The devs behind the team are some of the best in the entire industry. Literally the lead of the original CODs, titanfall 1-2, the Jedi games, Medal of Honor allied assault Vince zampella is leading this game.

The annual release plan is on the basis that battlefield will have multiple sub studios eventually to support annual releases. That plan is also not relevant now it will be relevant in 5-6 years from now.
