Imo each of these entries did something really good in the franchise.
-bf4 had some of the most dynamic large scale maps (levolution helped this a lot too). It also had the best aerial mobility in the series. It also laid the ground works with its class system which imo is the best overall.
(bf5 has better ground mobility, but that game sucks in other departments)

-bf3 had the overall best sandbox and map design in a single entry.

-bad company 2. Literal best rush and overall best destruction in the franchise. The game was built for rush. Its campaign is also fun.

-bf1 dedicated its entire sandbox to its setting and it paid off with the most unique experience in the franchise. The war stories are neat lil experiences.

I loved the beta but I have a minor list of complaints as a long-time Battlefield fan.
Required
-Improve the netcode. Some of the bullet registration has felt a bit wonky
-Improve the UI
-remove "flick look" option (I'm not sure how to feel about it)
-fix the spawns
-Vehicle controls in this game are especially clunky compared to prior titles. Especially the air vehicles, notably the helicopters, handle horrendously.
-Separate sensitivity for aim down sights and hip fire
-Separate sensitivity for tanks, buggies, players, jets, and helis.
-Improve Empire State's map flow. I've felt it to be the map where I've had the most one-sided matches.
-Reduce the lens flare a bit. It can be a bit much sometimes. (especially sniper glint)
-Increase bullet drop for snipers
-Give snipers flinch when getting shot
-Change sniper's passive perk from auto spot to something else. Autospot sucks in general imo.
-Fix bugs like players entering rooftops, the bloom bug, the random insane lens flare bugs, the matchmaking bug after a game, etc.
-The DMRs feel very underpowered, and the LMGs feel like they lack a real role besides their large magazine. While the LMGs have easy-to-control recoil, the ARs all get easy-to-control recoil with the right attachments. LMGs could use a unique suppression mechanic potentially.
Optional:
-maybe increase time to kill by like 10-30 milliseconds. It's just a touch too fast right now.
-add the ability to cook grenades
-blood and mud effects would be nice
Unsure:
-I feel some attachments make the guns a bit too easy to control. The base guns are fine and similar to bf4. (I might be tripping on this one, and the attachments are fine. I'm not sure.)
