Well here is a little thing they havent announced i think but is obvious by the UI design. They didnt get rid of specialists even though they say they did.
Notice how each class have a kit with a level and special gadget and funny that you can click that kit and see a menu with no options except that one. pretty sure we are gonna have multiple support kits with different passives and special gadget just like bf2042 except you dont have it locked behind a specific character. allows them to sell more cosmetics

I think DICE has a banger on their hands though. Last time I felt this good about a shooter was COD MW reboot which while not great had some really not call of duty like moments with vehicle combat and such. not at all the same I know. but I'm just saying they hit the VIBE of battlefield 6 well. it sort of feels like a battlefield 5 meets battlefield 3 and 4. movement and gun feel is a lot closer to battlefield 5 though. which I think is good. the one thing I am missing which could come is please give us more ambient noise fuck the competitive aspect of it. Maps have been a bit too hectic though. I had to up my sensitivity a lot. in battlefield 5 and 1 I play super low sensitivity because the game feels better that way but I feel like I had to zoom the camera around a lot more in battlefield 6.
Like I went from around 2-5 in game sens at 1600 dpi in battlefield 1 and 5 to 10-15 at 1600 dpi in battlefield 6

Beta is also used to test ahah. I think there will be less cheats en exploits after release and it would probably be similaire to pre obt1 as free games will never stop cheaters /glitchers to recreate new accounts and not everybody from the beta will afford the game

I couldnt play conquest in the beta... sadly. so i only got to play domination and rush. for some reason i got crazy packet loss and internet lag on conquest. It might honestly be a bottleneck somewhere. I cant tell if its my m2 or my ram. 3600xt with 4070 should be fine for this game though.... but as soon as i run conquest im playing with so much packet loss that it takes like a full mag to kill a person.....

Yeah the game was just not playable in conquest for me. like mad lags so bad that the movement felt like I was running through mud. So I stuck to domination and RUSH. To be fair. I think a lot of the network problems could just be that its a beta maybe its just that it was sending a lot more information in the beta vs what it will be like on release

higher native frames is a clearer image smoother less motion blur and input lag
higher frames with frame gen still nets you clearer image smoother and less motion blur.
but it doesnt net you the less input lag.
so spotting is easier.
its like lets say you run 120fps native
vs 60fps with 120fps when you use frame gen
you get the benefits of 120fps in terms of the image and its damn close there are glitches but its damn close.
but tracking and input still feels 60fps.

Ok so I got away from BF after pre-ordering 2042 and being completely crapped on by it. I genuinely felt it was my worse ever pre-order...
Though I know the game has gotten better and after playing BF6 the last couple weekends I am so stoked about the upcoming release. Feels good to be so elated about a game franchise that I've played from the beginning of the game.
One thing I didn't see in the open beta was the whole taking people's dog tags thing from BF3 and for me that was a huge draw for me on that game. I don't mean just taking someone's tags but actually having the dog tags screen where you could see whose tags you've taken and how many times you've taken them. There was a whole group of us who thrived on that. Id love to see it brought back for BF6 or maybe a future title. I was a tag taker by trade. When people acted weird or anti-team Id always tell them I will switch sides and spend the rest of the game just taking your tags. . And you know I meant that stuff. But even past just dogging people who wasn't team players. It was a constant sport for those of us who enjoyed it wether on a knife only server or a regular open server. Sorry long post but wanted to put my 2 cents in see how much love or hate it gets. Cause Im fr stoked about BF6

so running frame gen to get above 100fps is absolutely worth it in my opinion it feels a lot better to play with it vs without it. and as I said. I have over 5000 hours in CS one of the most competitive shooters there is.
and davey you get the benefits of spotting the enemies easier not earlier easier. there is the same input delay as 60. smoother image is worth it though.
People that talk about input lag really need to stop. This isnt CS where you run into anywhere near the same need for reaction time.

Here is the difference
in cs if im awping at a door where people can run past. at 60fps its a hard hit. at 120fps its easier and at 240fps and 240hz of course then I can hit that shot most of the time. but how many times are you holding angles where people run past for like a split of a second. its a different game and I just dont feel like 240hz will net me nearly the same benefits due to the gameplay style just being built very different

so the problem is under normal rasterisation performance you will hit a GPU or CPU wall extremely quick, and because you're not maximising the refresh rate VRR will engage, then vrr flicker will proceed, and because of oleds having extremely high refresh rates, they are particularly susceptible to this, frame generation if on 2x+ is a way of mitigating/eliminating this entirely, which is a massive plus compared to the negation (minimal) you get for input latency

I do. After the flop that was the start of 2042. This game hit most of the ticks for me. Fairly good game play , important to use your squad and stick together. Fast to die but if you trully team up with your squad it gets better. I didn't have any graphics issues personally and I didn't see anything zI didn't like. I honestly just want something that feels like COOP stories in online.
Thats why I loved heists. doing these coop story set pieces with the prep was hella fun. just gives is like good coop content. idk I will ofc complete SP but I do enjoy coop a lot more. And racing ofc. Having one game where you can do TDM, Races, Coop stories, and so on together with friends is what made GTA online so much fun. but then it just became a chore where you had to grind solo so that when you and your friends had time to play together you were ready for doing heists or online races which idk if i have to grind solo to get to do content with friends then nah game isnt for me

So I enjoy Call of duty. the fast pacing is fun. But BO6 was a horrible game and I was somehow enjoyed the pain of it.....
Biggest issue I had with BO6 was that all the maps were horrible. constant spawn changing meaning you die from people that are behind you all the fucking time. it just creates the kind of gameplay loop where you are running around the map all the time and just hope that you dont have a guy spawn right behind you
