It has nothing to do with implementation. It's purely about costs. It is a lot more cost effective to be able to turn on/off the servers based on the amount of people matchmaking. With a server browser, you'll have like 10 servers with 0 people on them just draining money

I do think that it's possible to find a good in-between tho. Most server browser users just join already active servers anyways so it should be possible to have both a matchmaking system and a server browser. They would have to add persistent servers though

If you play it more then 3hrs then yes. Also they just put up a free battle pass “Road to BF6” that has 6 cosmetic packs for bf6. So at the very least you’re paying $3 for the cosmetics
