the most annoying shit was seeing someone go down less than 10m from you and they instantly skip the revive, as if doing it would allow them to respawn faster. i would constantly type in chat to my team that they need to stop instant skipping, esp when there is a medic right next to them

Ahah well the medic is already overpowered in term of points (you easily finish first in your team when you revive your team, grant ammo). Engineer is nice also and is really helpfull on tanks / vehicles.
For the point with the tanks, I find them balanced. They deal a lot of damages and you need 4 well thrown c4 to kill it or 3 to 4 rockets. And this without the mechanic TP which repairs the tank he's in

With crossplay turned on for PS5 and XB the matchmaking will heavily prioritise matching you with PS5 and XB players. If it can't find any more at that time it will fill the rest with PC players.

It will very rarely match you with PC players. If it does it will only match you with a small few because it cannot find any more console players at that time to match you with. It always prioritises console with console unless a PC player joins your squad. It's a massive step up from the 2042 system.

To a degree me too but I’m ngl, especially during the pretest I was impressed with how many blue berries actually revived me, I only got to play Thursday and Friday so I think I ultimately got a better experience than the people that played the open beta

i played recon for like 95% of my playtime so spotting enemies got done pretty damn fast, took me like 5 games to get it done

@tight prism exactly. when i play a class, i play it to the best of my ability. i had an engineer game with 2k tank healing (which i think is good) and i had a medic game with over 40 revives.

as a medic, i will sprint 30m across the battlefield to get to you, ducking and diving past everything yet the teammate will see me 5m away and then decide to skip the revive. it annoyed the fuck out of me. my most satisfying moments were seeing 3/4 downed teammates and sprinting with smokes as cover to get them all up

yeah thats understandable. when i play recon, i try my best to pick off enemy snipers and enemies close to the obj, when i play engineer i will literally be in a tank all game and fix it no matter what is going on around me.

when i play medic, i will go for anyone who is downed withing a 30m range around me, i found it ridiculously fun to play as an aggressive medic with the m4 and it was a great feeling storming an objective with 10+ teammates, seeing them get knocked down and revived. shit felt like i was in actual battle

100% I generally play as a squad leader so my focus is on the team and what’s needed from my actions to get us wins. The other day I had my most successful match on the larger of the 3 maps with that mountain. I saw the game going wrong with tons of people trying to force the other team out of C and B while our tickets drained, with one obj left I took my squad to F with a really good flank, our sniper got a beacon down and we fought there until the enemy team fell back to handle us and our team caught up, we spent maybe 5-7 min holding all obj’s and getting the lead while the enemy struggled to leave their spawn. By the time they flanked it was too late

i play medic and usually have 15-20 revives per game but the issue is that people are not patient and want to get insta-rezzed. You gotta let good medics do their job, evaluate the situation and see if it's a good time to rez or wait until the smoke settles a bit. @tight prism thank you :) there is 100% something wrong with pinging in general, a lot of the times i would have to press it 2-3 more times to get the ping to appear. i noticed bags kind of all over the place, my general rule was that if i revive someone and i had a bag, i would throw it down so it replenishes their util

im new to bf but i genuinely dont understand how people struggle to play their class too, all you literally do it pick a playstyle and play it to the max. you chose engineer? stay in a tank all game and heal the fuck out of it while damaging enemy tanks

you chose medic? stay close to the most teammates as possible and heal the fuck out of them

you chose recon? focus on high priority targets such as enemy snipers and position yourself in such a way that youre close enough to help teammates by killing off enemies but not close enough to die instantly

you chose assault? get the fuck on the objective and put your life on the line, trust your medics to have your back

i started off playing in the backlines with the lmg but found a greater degree of success playing more aggro with the m4. i dont need to revive as many teammates when i can kill the enemies trying to kill my team :) i also found it super fun to alternate between downing 3 enemies then reviving a couple teammates

@gray barn yeah i defo agree, i got it more when it opened up. for me personally, i didnt notice a difference in teamplay but i was also playing completely diff roles in open vs closed weapons so that may be why

yeah, sniping defo feels weak but once you get the hang of it its a lot more enjoyable. i genuinely didnt really like the beta for my first 5-10 hours of playing but once i started trying roles other than recon, i started having so much more fun. i absolutely adore sniping and its the only thing i do in most fps games but i think imma mainly be running engineer or support when the full game releases.

i played almost 25 hours in the beta and had a pretty positive review by the end of it. maps surprisingly felt less like cod once i was actually running around in the thick of it and the ttk felt far more reasonable. the thrill of running with 10+ teammates is unmatched and defo one of the most exciting feelings i have had in a video game recently

There were thousands of cheaters in the game the last few days go check ticktock and you tube. Microsofts ♥♥♥♥ does not work and they proved it to themselves. Besides that secure boot is only used with FPS/Tournament games. Rpgs/Survival/Mmo's and other genre's will not ask for secure boot and yes you need it to install windows 11 but can click it off still if you wanted to after you install. Devs, I really only had 2 things I need immediately addressed, and you won't see this message but I'm gonna put it here anyway because I don't know where else to put it.

1. Fix the issue for Xbox streaming. I don't use a capture card setup so I got screwed in the content. Addressing my 2nd issue is also important to this 1st topic because it will end my stream prematurely.
2. I play on a Series X and encountered an issue many times where my console would freeze then completely shut down during gameplay. The issue didn't occur at set intervals, and my shortest time in game before an issue was 3 minutes with the longest being over an hour. Next time I get in game at the next Beta, I will try and set my cam up to record my TV. I know it's not the best data collection method, but it's the only thing I can think of to turn in to your team for them to reference. Also, please send me a link or method to submit said data.
   Otherwise, game is feeling pretty good! I can't blame my horrible plays on anything besides my own stupidity and lack of skill, outside of the above mentioned issues, and look forward to playing more! ❤️

I played beta and it was bad, then I played launch and it was unplayable then I played a year later and it was on par with beta. Bf1 had bad gunplay but atleast it was fun with less bloom, 2042 had trash gunplay and it was boring too even after they fixed the bloom . rn its 29c but the main issue is due to our infrastructure, which essentially traps in all the heat and turns our houses into an oven. a lot of the time, its hotter indoors than outside 😂 the heat here is also really sticky, so you just sweat a lot due to the lack of breeze outside and no ac in most houses

can be yes, but need to specify which vehicules, cuz the damn recon drones have more health than chopers lul. some glitches and bugs in the environement here and there that were exploited that gives advantage like getting on roofs in cairo or clipping throu the cliffs in peak, gadgets too bugging, and the beacon on recon, why is it self destructing when u respawn on it, its stupid. some gadgets dont deploy and gets consumed when used.
