there's more to go wrong which means it takes longer to fix, but most of performance is fixed by open beta. if the project is run in a normal agile cadence then it wil be just minor things you are tweaking in beta. if you are making dramatic changes in beta then you shouldnt have gone from alpha/closed beta

I'm personally not a fan of the "forced to spawn at the start of a game" mechanic, and the flight models for jets/helicopters (less so for helicopters) still feel very arcade-like, which was another dislike I had for 2042

I was having that issue at first but I updated my graphics drivers and it was fine and i didn’t have an issue the rest of the time, I have a 12gb 3060 with a 5900x and everything’s been great for me after updating drivers, we have pretty similar systems minus the gpu so we should be getting similar performance. Literally sitting between 75-90 with frames uncapped on high settings

Aye it's probably a choice to ensure twitch and YT streams are constantly in action, keeping viewers dopamine attached. Those beta maps would benefit Conquest small imo, 32 player servers. Proper Battlefield Conquest maps with 64 player servers and locked weapon classes, + other quality of life improvements that encourage squad, team play, and tactics more than just the run and gun this beta is, and we might finally be back in action 🔥

Game feels way too busy IMO, there's 0 quiet time. You turn to look left and an enemy spawns on your right. Hey bro I have a solution. Turn on War Tapes V.A.L. I turned this on a few days ago before the access, been running it since. Its SUPER responsive. Each bullet I shoot audibly hits my target and I hear them scream when they go down. it feels really good actually.

it's currently not working as intended - however according to the EA forums, the workaround may be to install the game twice (once with steam and once with the EA app) - run the game once on EA app to unlock with play pro, then switch to steam to play with friends
