Yup, and I mean its BF, the maps are half of what makes the game. You show how great the big battlefields are, as they always did, but this time, there is none we know of. And the amount of small maps is already concerning considering on launch there will be 9 maps i believe, so 3 of them so far when im queuing conquest, a gamemode for big maps, will be not as fun for me bc these maps arent enjoyable nor big. the 2 are especially really small for conquest.

Yeah it is very disappointing that they have chosen to go down this route. this game is so fun, they really did a good job with this launch at least for those that got in game, I here there is a que but I was able to just log on no problem, I was waiting in game for it to unlock and they had a timer in game, and it unlocked and let me play right away. one 'lost connection' in game that took me to menu was the single issue in 3 hours of play. freaking amazing

The sliding is nerfed so hard it almost doesn't do anything to help you. The abilities are literally passive and really do not do much in terms of changing gameplay. You guys just expect everything to be exactly perfect and how you want it. Look at BF4, game was literally unplayable at launch and was a total disappointment in the beginning, now it is viewed as one of the best in the franchise. 2042 plays no where near as good as this, is no where near as replayable, hell 2042 doesn't even play like a battlefield game, this does. I seriously do not understand where at all you think this game is like 2042. There isn't any weird gimmicks that are worth complaining about, sliding literally takes you like 2 feet, the dolphin dive is absolutely worthless, there is no tactical sprint, people aren't flying off of buildings with wingsuits. It is literally just straight up warfare like battlefield is supposed to be. Complain all you want but it will not change the fact that the vast majority of people who have gotten to play so far are genuinely enjoying the game and happy with what we have so far. You are so quick to pass judgment without giving the game more than just a couple hours of playtime.

And my judgement so far is that I have been enjoying it, it plays smoothly, the gunplay is really enjoyable, the movement isn’t crazy and is definitely slower paced, I’m still not seeing the correlation with 2042 at all. Game definitely is not 2042 but I think people on the opposite of the aisle shutting down literally any criticism for the game are equally bad. Game is great, but it's not really close to perfect.

You can have some silly movement with a gun kitted out for speed, hipfire, ads speed. But it’s battlefield so like you’re going to run into dozens of people holding angles lol
