They should consider reducing overall movement and sprint speed, especially in core modes like Conquest.
Right now, the sprint feels too fast, more reminiscent of Call of Duty than Battlefield. Slower pacing forces players to use cover more strategically and leads to more intense, memorable shootouts. This style defines the Battlefield experience.

Faster sprinting could still be viable in smaller, fast-paced modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, or Battle Royale—but Conquest needs to retain that deliberate, tactical flow.

Deep Rock Galactic, for example, is still earning a good amount of money despite releasing years ago because the game is good and has a solid playerbase willing to buy stuff and battlepasses. The issue with BF2042 was that, if I recall, the project was initially meant to be a battle royale, then they wanted a BF game without giving enough time, thus why we had such empty maps or the weird extraction mode. The Heads need to think clearly and realize making a good game takes time.

I understand the no-preorders gig when they were earning money only from base sales, but now, these studios do not plan to only earn from sales alone. Even though 2042 flopped there was a feature kind of cool still but could’ve been done better. That feature was the robot drone dog which was kind of cool and if they keep drone equipment in the new battlefield it would be alright as we’re in that new era off the introduction of more wide use of drone warfare but make them remote control again like the EOD bot in BF4. Take a look of the Russian and Ukraine war currently for example with hundreds to thousands of drones being used each month of various different types from aerial to even ground type including the robot dog kind similar to what was in BF2042. So I’d be fine if they kept drones in BF6 and expanded a little more with different types but of course have limits. Another feature that would be awesome up see again is the commander mode again from BF4 where people can join into matches as commanders from their mobile devices anywhere and perform commander actions like how we were about to call in cruise missiles and UAVs and such, perhaps incorporate more advanced drones into that function like the aerial strike drones or kamikaze drones of larger scale.
