the problem with tanks is that they are very big and attract a lot more attention than infantry. You get shot at a lot more. It's not uncommon to have 3-4 engineers waiting for you to peek a corner in your tank. You will almost never have 3-4 people holding one angle against one guy on foot. The engineers also won't miss the shot while the people on foot might, especially if you are fast

it would be cool if tracks of tanks had a large but seperate dmg pool - like running over a mine could disable the track so you could only go in circles; adversely engineers could repair with the repair tool run around the side and motion to begin jacking up the one side and adjusting the track.. lends a little more to realism and is more of a point grab for players - also lends to being stranded in a bad spot and needing squad repairs

an example would be using an AT rifle (don't think 6 will have one, but still), hitting the engine of a heli, and it doing 2 damage more and just making it so they cant ascend as fast. which would be a bad way of doing it
