Yesterday you could only play BR. It seems (many Opinions) to be an even stronger adaptation of BF to COD WZ. Exactly the same Find&Loot of crates, weapons and ballistic plates as in WZ. Bad ping. Graphics medium. Smooth gameplay in races, lagging and freezes in battles.

Here my opinion, so first the support was bad I could not play right away in my own language.
I am not a battle royal player but there do not belong any vehicles in such a game, but I must say that the graphics even on console have pleased me very much.
On the other hand the settings are way too much, I want to play and not study 3 days what every setting does, please take bf3 as an example not too much and very beginner friendly also for new players.
What I find a pity is, why I find it a pity that 90% the game would be focused on destruction and also that it runs well on PC, no only for console crossplay and no 120 fps mode for console. Battlefield 6 will notice that quickly in the player numbers later, because the players disappear because of too many settings nobody needs, because of portal mode and now also because of battle royal, will then still the lobbies in multiplayer even be full or does it go exactly like in bf2042 further that one almost waits 5 minutes for a lobby and then only 2 or 3 players are inside. Bf6 will be exactly like bf2042. Dear developers if you read this then please change something very, very quickly otherwise your players go away again very, very quickly.

Man, I already have a few assets if we are allowed to upload assets for LABs. I want to make a large map on will be PVE with certain Missions that OP4 players will participate in for several RL OPs combined from OIF/OEF. while the enemies will be Ai on max settings. Then if the games I created are popular, I’ll add incentives for my games like prizes for the first squad to finish all the missions with the most points, and I’ll post the rules on how points can be deducted, etc. I have my PS5 that I can give away, but that would probably be for a MAP that is similar to the military sniper games. People will shoot from a moving chopper at a hostage behind held hostage. Then run thru the shoot house and hit all the targets that never pop up in the same spot each time, because I don’t want anyone to memorize the entire layout. Also I’ll do a PVPVE with Ai as the largest faction, and both teams can do a cease fire, or take on both teams lol. My custom built maps will have games for different players who like to use vehicles, and those who want to do escort type missions, or real Sim/LARP type games. If we are allowed to add custom assets, Then I can make navy/Air Force vehicles protect and support escort Air Force one with the Unit “ delta force “ that will finish the escort to the norad bunker and those who were on other escort ships can spawn as JSOC guys that can choose certain vehicles, and all the guys flying for airforce/navy can fly different attack helicopters, and the pilots need to stay above 3500ft to intercept missiles or defend from the Ai and have transport choppers close by just in case it would be faster and much more safe to get the president in a UH60 or Marine One if we are able to load assets. I have lots of assets I created in blender and I just realized that many people want to buy or lease out my assets and make sure they read the entire contract thoroughly, because the important things are large letters bold and underlined, lol. I had many try to buy an asset that took me 9hours to be tested and saved in all the different game engines/formats. They cancel the payment for my assets, but they don’t realize any money that they make from my asset 70% goes to me as long as the watermark isn’t removed by me.

2.A)You don’t have to study 3days for the settings, because I’m sure someone has already put out a video that’s straight to the point of what each setting is for, lol. Since you easily get upset over a game that isn’t officially open completely yet, and you don’t want to google or use one out of the 5 Ai programs that can literally explain everything that you can easily utilize to do the work for you, so you don’t have to raise your cortisol levels, and nitpick about the settings that should be easy to understand for new players. This is my first time seeing anyone grumble or mention about game settings shouldn’t be so complicated that new players that want to play the game won’t be able to understand anything.

3.A) when was the last time you took your console completely apart to remove all the dust build up inside your system? If you didn’t upgrade to the newer consoles systems or Upgrade your Memory with a 2280 4TB Samsung 980/990 pro Gen4 NVMe SSD with heat sink protection and using a DP port to get better FPS? did you check what gauge or how thick were the cords you used to plug into the system? your settings HDMI, USB-C, or DP

4A) I don’t understand why GrandpaGaming hasn’t complained about everything you seem unhappy about, and you then go on to claim that this game is a failure because of too many unnecessary settings, but have you seen the newest gaming console builds? All those settings if you want max fps that your monitor should be able to push, then I would suggest that you turn off all settings or change them to very low, lol. I truly believe that you will have an insane FPS increase. One last thing that I will say is that why didn’t you tell the Devs to do this, this, this, that, implement this, and get rid of the unnecessary settings, because I’m old PS5 from 2020-2022 isn’t running at optimal speeds when playing cross gen, because of all those settings, lol. I’m sure BF6 will drop in numbers due to people working, or some went out to touch grass for the first time and now they will only play BF6 when a new season, Item, weapon skin, etc will come out next. Heck, If you know how to keep retention levels steady, why don’t you create your own FPS game to prove that you have the answers to making a better game, being able to keep lots of people constantly engaged with the game w/o taking a break to play some other game so they don’t get burnt out playing the same game modes several hours a day everyday.

To make people stay interested in playing this game without ever getting bored, the devs should combine all the games they made for the battlefield series and create an open world pve or PVPVE to unlock unique Easter eggs, possibly make events having the 25 best BF6 players challenge 25 top 250 warzone players, lol.

It’s funny that some people talk about skill gap using COD as a game like meter, without broken aim assist 50%+ players are really bad and have not ideas how to make good decision during a match (just run to the next red dot on the mini map), in BF if don’t know how to make great positioning you’ll just get melted by enemies… people not used to play BF are asking to nerf Tanks, Heli etc… when you just need to focus on them with engineers… in BF skills involved are different from COD, BF=teamwork, focus on winning the match, positioning, understanding of surroundings even COD= reflexes, speed thinking, k/d focus

I think there's something wrong with the new mode tested this week.

Firstly, having equipment scattered all over the place is still very troublesome to organize, and it doesn’t look great either .

Secondly, the pacing of matches feels off. If you parachute to a remote location at the start, you’re likely to end up in a prolonged state of having nothing to do .

This leads to another issue: the distribution of supplies on the map still isn’t enough .

Sorry to rant about wrong platform assignment again, but I am hoping someone from the inside sees this

Looking at the many cases of people being assigned wrong platforms, I went back and checked the playtester profile which has a page about platform preferences. There is actually no way to choose Console only. The choice is Console/PC Playtests only. So if you earlier answered truthfully that you play on your PC regularly (games from 2015 and earlier) they take it into account as a viable platform you can get. Even if its not powerful enough to run BF 6. Some people will hate me for bringing this up again, but its clearly a mistake on their part and there is many people that have this problem through no fault of their own.

Sorry for the late response and the huge damn long comment. I forgot that I made that comment. I’m a 100% P&T rated veteran and due to surviving a couple IEDS, two VBIEDs, and one danger close JDAM that me and the JTAC thought we were seriously not going to make it, because we were within the kill zone of the blast/shockwave. I don’t know how the ground and huge bolder shielded us from either suffering major internal injuries or instantly retired from the 2,000lbs JDAM that a pilot had left when he had to RTB and he heard us calling in for any support to prevent almost two platoons worth of fighters flanking our secondary CCP. Not knowing that there was me and the JTAC scanning from a boulder with gravel piles around it, and that gave us the best camouflage among the terrain and it was all open flat ground that was just harvested for a 100m.

Anyway BF6 is teaming up with Microsoft to detect all Cronus/Xim users, because they think that’s who are causing the problems but it’s actually people who spend $600 for a DMA/Overlay double output to one input. So they will be able to have all their cheats showing on their monitor as an overlay that won’t be seen by anyone watching the livestream or videos they make when recording gameplay. However BF6 has bought many players who stopped playing due to how the game went down hill. Now there’s going to be many servers with hardcore BF players who won’t tolerate a Warzone playstyle, and I’m sure you’ll find good communities that will have their servers back up, and everyone should read all the rules before jumping in to play, because you don’t want to get banned for breaking the rules. So I wouldn’t worry about people cheating, because what you saw was Warzone/COD players doing stuff for the clout, and to protect the game franchise that they are sponsored by. Plus not all but some top players are cheating and that’s why they don’t do LAN tournaments, or if they do it has to be hosted by them, because it’s easy to create a USB DMA or a custom controller with a DMA hidden inside that makes many people not see a KMbox/DMA, etc.

Depends heavily on the card you're using, and the rest of the hardware. The 9600x is latest gen too, which is far faster than something like the 3600x. The IPC improvements alone are probably making it hang on, but eventually it'll start struggling as most modern engines are making use of 8cores/16threads

I bet if he has task manager open, he'll be seeing the chip near constantly maxxed out in BF6 at 100%, whether hes hitting the refresh rate or not

Always loved the look of the Radeon VII cards, as troubled as the cards were. The older radeons also aged like fine wine - the entire r7/r9 lineup were solid ass cards, even if they ran a little toasty, pretty sure plenty of them are still kicking around nowadays, they're little powerhouses

Intel are great value GPU's, they just don't get as much support. If you're on a really tight budget and you're gaming at 1080p though, they're a good option, better than the other 2 at that resolution/price point IMO

quality renders at 1440 I think so dlss quality 4k is like native 1440

Well I have a 9070 XT, I play online shooters at low settings with FSR for max framerate (I think a lot of people do this), and I can get close to 200 fps in BF6 at 4k on what is a mid-range GPU. I am going to assume a 5070 Ti is similar performance seeing as the GPU's are usually very close. So sure, you can get up to ultra with the same framerate on a 5090 but unless you're rocking one of those new 500Hz monitors you're not really gaining that much for more than double the price

I think most people are on 144-165Hz monitors still tbh, my brother has a Ryzen 5 9600X in his setup and he can hold around 120-130 fps so unless they have really high refresh rate monitors on not very good CPU's (which would be weird) they'll probably be fine

Yeah ultrawide is still not supported in a lot of games. It can lead to things like weird cutscenes, and on an OLED it can also lead to uneven burn in over time when you're playing content that leaves part of the screen black

The refresh discussion made me want to comment that both personal experience and understanding wise, the difference between 60 and anything above 60 is more of feeling than much of a visible difference. Which matters, but like for me where 120 caused severe software issues for my phone, going back to 60 was fine.

I'm not too worried, it's kept fairly cool, I have all the OLED care features turned on, and I have my taskbar and browser/Discord etc all set up on my utility monitor so it rarely has static content. If I get 3-4 years out of the monitor that's enough, it's just something you accept with OLED. All OLED's will burn in eventually, it's just the nature of how they work, it's just a matter of when.

Well to be fair I only played a couple of matches. The movement was different and it was a little tricky to understand the objectives. There was quite a movement difference (at least I felt). That being said I am a little burnt out for BR's after playing warzone for so long.

However the redeploys on first death without having to win a gulag was nice. Also being redeployed again by your team was pretty easy so it's nice to not have to really work at getting back in
