My buddy is having the same problem - he's got up to date drivers, installed on NVME, restarted PC/client/game, changed settings - and still no weapon models/players. He can occasionally get a weapon to show when he swaps a loadout for like one life, but then if he switches classes everything's invisible again. If anybody has any troubleshooting tips we're all ears!

EDIT: He verified game files and changed Graphics Quality Preset from "Auto" to "Low" and seemed to work in the first match he played. Not sure if it'll work with higher presets, but a potential fix for the Invisible weapons/players bug.

So for the assault getting recons beacon, i think it'd be way cooler if recon kept beacon for the sneaky cheeky beacon and they gave assault an assault flare. You'd get 1 flare per life unable to resupply it and when you shot it in the air the entire team could spawn on it for 15-30 seconds. This would give assault the team play part they want while making them able to define the front line. Imagine you're on a point and you see a big red flare go up and know that in a few seconds multiple squads are going to be storming the point, but they only get the one so it doesn't get spammed too much and it doesn't persist as a constant annoyance you need to go find. This keeps the recon as the stealthy flanker and let's the assault trigger actual assaults. They could run and gun their way in then use the flare to trigger a big team flank.
