Recon spawn beacons for example are matter of fact worse, when a recon is expected to be a long range unit. You can make the argument that them having carbines allows them to go CQC, but the sniper being their "Role" via their class weapon...explains to a player that this is how they are expected to play.

Spawn beacons are more effective when used for infiltration tho. Placed behind enemy lines in a sneaky position. Not 1000m away from combat

Also, as others have said here. Players historically have not chosen a class for their role or expected actions. They have chosen them for them having the best weapons. AKA...assault in BF3/4

Carbines should be a middle ground between SMG and AR. Like they should draw faster, have faster ADS speed, faster sprint to ADS speed, ETC. (Compared to ARs)

"team play". It doesn't really exist in Battlefield. Battlefield is just a meat grinder. No one openly communicates anything across the team. The best thing you'll get in terms of communications is, "we need more engineers", or,
"medics need to revive more". That's the furthest of "team play" is communicated.

What BF does have over COD, is the potential for synergy between soldiers, classes and vehicles. Its always possible, but not always happening.

That's not how it works. The fact that it's based on the same client means that they've used the 2042 client as a placeholder to make this one, so they're saving work. So, no, downloading 2042 is not going to do anything

My main point would be the consistency and predictability of where classes are distributed in your team. My friends and I were getting 100+ kills a round with 1 or 2 deaths in 2042. 0 objective score and then we stopped playing because it was dumb.

I know respawn becons and suiciding are a way around it but atleast they're out of action for a few minutes. Plus if respawn beacons have a parachute it gives away your position.

How does everyone feel about the idea of adding a 2 seater fighter jet in a future battlefields? Make it to where the pilot only has access to guns and flares, and the weapons officer has access to the missiles and bombs?
I feel like that could be fun for teamwork

True, but the difference is you would be using lock on missiles for the second seat much like the BF 3 campaign mission, but also having the ability to use guided bombs

yeah, but i guess its a pretty outdated kind of roleplay/ style of game. i totaly enjoy playing these spots, but, im a "solo" player, so no squad behind me, or friends im playing with - if you got that, youre good to go, but i guess the publisher is also more into the "solo" players..
