What got me not come back again after 1 year hiatus my old softcap gear was now "noob tier" so I just said aight imma head out. Still, had the best times ever. Probably last mmo ill ever play. Incredible memories. Can't get that back. Will probably never happen again. Good times!

But I enjoyed the random moments of the game a lot, like getting into a random cave thing and it turns out to be huge and deep, giving you access to another part of the map
ngl I ragequit #1 during the part where you jump in the hole and have to grind trash mobs for 20 thingies
the first game was a bit more straight forward with its storytelling. DD2 builds up this political intrigue and does absolutely fuck all with it
that part of the game killed my vibe so hard

ff7 remake (only one I played) went action rpg with watered down mechanics; but still managerd to have really cool materia and weapon systems
wow doing the rockstar A to sprint thing while not doing the automatic camera is certainly a choice
another FF16 issue is about 40-60% into the game, it becomes a cooldown simulator because your basic attacks do no damage, only skills do; so you just rotate ultimate skills on cooldown and watch the unskippable cutscenes
the first ~30% you actually do the dmc-lite combos with slash shoot slash shoot

i wouldn't especially describe it as a bad thing

but even with all the issues, its a game I'd suggest playing on sale
instead of doing your routing with the regular mechanics you just substitute the abilities

I have to play with RR. Normally running 4K DLAA but if I switch over to quality its a nice boost. Then enabling RR it tanks my framerate down into the 30's. Might just be a me issue, not sure whats up there.
Been playing this game for a few hours now in HDR on a LG C4 and it looks pretty decent i have to say. I am just a bit confused about the hdr10+ Option. No Idea how i could ever activate this because win11 has No hdr10+ toggle

Really? Havent really tried. But i am amazed how Well this game runs on my 5070 ti. Everything max with RR 4k dlss Performance mfg X4 i can reach 140fps. And gsync keeps the input lag pretty low. When the FPS goes down a bit, there arent any frame pacing issues so no vrr flicker even though its on OLED. Amazing
I've played the first 4h with HDR on, 5070ti too 1440p dlss balanced. I just tried SDR and boom, much better colors at least in my opinion. HDR looks washed out

Exploring is rewarding and the side quests are pretty easy too
I like it. I'm only 2 hours in though but I like how lively the world feels

RR is so heavy, damn. Even on a 4080 I don't think I can use it.
Sadly, I could not play without RR. Especially indoor location can look horrible with all the noise, shimmering, boiling etc.

I have 320hz panel and Reflex should cap my fps to 295 and it does in borderless fulscreen but after last update in Hitman it only caps it to 225 no matter what in Exclusive Fullscreen, I can return it to 295 with some RTSS fuckery but it needed to be done every restart. And unfortunately Hitman 3 has HDR only in exclusive fullscreen

I wouldn't say the GI is very realistic either. The game's GI is quite tuned to high contrast scenes and a harsh falloff to complete black. It's just artistic intent isn't it? Also lighting the entire world without realtime GI would be a nightmare.
