Pro-tip: you donāt need a center when you are seated on axis and, if you remove it it will spread the sounds to left and right widening the soundstage and increasing immersion
Centers are only needed for big rooms
i ran fiber optic HDMI to my TV so if i wanna play games with good audio i just grab a controller and do it there

Yeah, if you swap BG3 back to SDR you basically get the same crushed details, though I've actually been leaving it on as the amount of times it actually removes detail as opposed to making it very hard to see isn't that frequent for me
Cyberpunk is a game where I don't do that and leave the SDR EOTF emulation off, but in BG3 I keep it on to look more like the SDR experience

no they get overwritten by Reno, it is quite rare that a game keeps the HDR controls, ForzaH 6 is a recent rare example

then you have installed normal Reshade, delete the dxgi.dll in your game folder and see if it makes the Vulkan version appear

lul, the first thing that came up when I googled it, were 2nd hand sellers... a lot of them 
a lot of people have the 10 and not the 12, it's also an older cheaper sub that's big so
i can see why people would want to get rid of it
but the performance is fine
it seems to be the 12, no idea why so many are around for offer
there is even one that's been around since January and it's now down to 267 dollars, because nobody bought it x)
i feel like there are often a lot of used subs and speakers around in general
good to save some money and not as much of a lottery ticket as TVs and co

Yeah, this is the right approach, there are games where i prefer the original color and intent, and others where I just go "i like it better this way" and don't care
it's ok, you'll end up replaying this game a lot
i recommend the full suite of UI mods, wasd camera, makes for a really fresh approach
the game feels different when you walk around with wasd
you don't feel like you're waiting for your character to get to where you clicked
i use a mix of both cameras

playing with origin characters is barely provdiing new scenes

Great, reinstalling Reshade has completely borked my installation where it can't complete shader recompile now
also i like 100%ing games so i still have 3 achievements to go after 3 honor mode playthroughs and 1 tactician and 1000 hours

most Reno mods need only like +5 to 10 contrast/saturation and I'm happy, but others go a little overboard with the neutral look, that's when I need to fiddle more š

the issue on the new reno build is that some things like fire are already fully saturated can't take more
I get that, I have color depth set to 55 on my display for a tiny extra kick

When the first beta of the new build comes out, I'm gonna test that again and let Forge know to give us an option to make everything neutral together, so we can Saturate ourselves as users (if it comes up again)
I guess I didn't find any difference between the vanilla game colors and the reno mod so i left it
the mod is warmer which is usually good
for some things like fire and vfx with highlights it looks liek it just fixes the color to what it should have been all along
but i don't notice any overall shift

so ive tried the vk addon thats pinned, except i installed the reshade.dll into the games bin folder and renamed to dxgi, is that wrong? as i dont have a programdata reshade folder
and also the sliders in reno dont do anything for me, atleast in the main menu, ingame hdr should be on or off?

start the game once without the dxgi, let the Vulkan Reshade start, at the very least then the folder should appear
ok so install reshade as vulkan like normal first
ok so ive done it like you said, got the folder now, started game once and then replace the file and so on, installed reno but sliders still dont do anything in main menu
it was green tint on the first startup, then once i replaced the .dll it became normal blue again
if you find any injection/hooking dll from reshade in the game folder, delete it
i do have a dxgi.dll in the /bin
delete it, Vulkan injects globally from the ProgramData folder, it doesn't need the dll locally
didnt see written anywhere that i gotta delete it, but how else does reshade then pull the reno addon

displaycommander addon works fine tho, exact same location as displaycommander is placed

but I have RE'ed the relevant data
Also RE'ed and profiled everything else
I now have concrete evidence and ideas for refactoring CPU side code
but it will take weeks
also I need to read papers and docs
Outside of that I have RE'ed descriptors and Vulkan code
I now know why reshade side custom texture binding and shader passes were crashing
I can just bind and add custom shaders natively and they work fine, appear in devkit so its all verified as working
RE'ed shadows as well
game uses 512 or 256 during cutscenes for the character

Also have a mention for combing the 14 clustered deferred lighting shaders into 3 groups
3 groups all share the same code just split via tile classification
I will now be able to modify per group rather than per shader
and that should stop all the tile mismatching

its not just low res alone
most of the flickering is from the hair shadows
becasue of how they do alpha test
each strand of hair gets fucked
so in this scenario we need stochastic alpha using IS-FAST to fully solve the assery
higher res hair / smoother hair mod actually makes it worse

Lighting I am going to improve their existing probe solution with higher res probes (rn they use 16x16 with one SH)

The only 2 Shaders from Reshade that I 100% recommend are clarity and HDRSaturation, the rest is super optional

I just really hate that grey feeling, so I almost always add 1-10 contrast depending on the game
My saturation/contrast journey only really began with OLED 
Are all the mods you recommended still worth using, even with RenoDX Vulkan?
I left all the settings in the middleāthat works quite well so far.
especially with VK
dynamic shadows -> too many torches -> DX11 30 fps -> VK almost 100fps
and with Hero Lighting turned off, the dynamic lighting/shadows look even more wonderful, the 4k too
truly a current gen feeling, compared to the lackluster options of Vanilla
the camps use the beauty of the engine and assets that Larian made and put them to good use, instead of those barren camps that are probably because of Console restrictions.... š
