the custom lutbuilder isn't used
people only having UI brightness work prob fuck up their settings somewhere
unless they somehow made a new lutbuilder spawn
there's some minor ones like the char menu background, super minor, and for me reno was flickering moving camera, and of course the char grading issue. But whatever, it seems too much work for ue-generic to fix for a single game.
It won't be the perfect experiance, but there are other HDR solutions NTE can use from

It was DLSS anything doesn't work except DLAA

I donno, E is fine, it's always been the "soft" DLSS4.0 but you kinda need it for RT unless you want to see a whole bunch of crawling effects on reflections
you can try raising the sharpening

using sharpening isn't gonna fix the reflections becoming blurry at any slight camera movement
RR will make it not work
then you have a tough choice, crawling artifacts or blurrying

their hwrt pipeline is super heavy

In game denoiser is garbo the dlss M or L models have better ones so we turn the ones off in game
right but I still get wobbly tree shadows and i think some really bad DoF instability on certain angles
it's not that bad when actually just focusing on playing the game, but
i jsut didn't notice any improvement at all that's the thing

NTE findings from using the ue-extended addons dropped in channel today
the one that fixed the 10k nits bug worked
later ones that fix character brightness instead make most sliders stop working, especially when DLSS is on
Just seems to be a bug, at least on my end the render resolution is still my fullscreen.
this build has the lutbuilders added. i also PRed them to marat's repo so it'll be available on his github whenever he merges it
requires bgra8 typeless upgrades. it might break the map screen in-game though

Also i got somehow 6x frame gen to work. Swapping streamline files works, tho you can't relaunch the launcher as itll swap them back

i'm doing a reverse - topup website method, where i let them login trough their system first, so the game registers your region, after that instead of using the website if you pay trough paypal or other services they never see your credit card, and paypal does the currency transaction (you always get the HKD or whathever invoice)

I have been doing it in multiple gacha games for the past year or two and never ran into any sorts of issues
I just use a vpn and use top up on the gacha's website

Looks like they're just using FakeNVAPI to spoof a 4090/5080m to fix RT.
I honestly think you will be fine I havent heard of people getting their accounts banned for such stuff yet but there is always some amount of risk.
since I don't have a vpn instead I let the thirdparty guys login first which hopefuly locks the entire account to that region, ever heared of folks doing this method is this common? I discovered it by accident

yes so they login and try to topup and send me msg they can't because account is too fresh, so i log in after them do the tutorial and tell them to try again
they topup, it works, and all my prices are in HKD and cheaper, even if i buy myself trough the game (paypal gets an invoice for HKD and just converts the $)
Can confirm ray tracing is now enabled
the reason for this is it discounts everything that's not availble trough 3rd party webshops like battlepass and special packs
Hm well on lootbar it loads up a android emulator session in which you log in and top up for cheaper which is basically the same thing as your method and I have been using that site for Endfield since it launched and havent had any issues
I doubt the companies really care unless it becomes widespread and starts to impact them in a visible way

As far as I can tell whatever that is relies heavily on Optiscaler/FakeNVAPI so, I'd consider just trying that.
I'm gonna guess there's some tomfoolery because it's showing up on my end with a 4090

Reno currently only works with DLAA for me right now. Quality, balanced… etc. don’t work. I don’t have any dlss overrides active and restored my NTE NVIDIA profile to defaults. Does someone know what the problem could be?
I also followed the NTE reno ZipBomb instructions

So I figured out the problem the update ue extended that fixes 10k ui also overshoots the cap you have set in the settings. I went back to the old one and it no longer goes over my peak brightness set in the settings.

yes well...I don't quite know what spiwar did, so making it universally compatible will be a wip. You can try other forms of HDR if you really need HDR.
i tested both 8 typeless upgrades to all 3 types and i get a red screen in game no matter what, do i need upgrade copy destinations or something

For some reason with the most updated mod, no matter what it doesn’t work with dlss. I don’t have any overrides and not using RR. The old one works fine but it has the 10k ui bug

Can someone confirm if the mod works nice with aphelion and Indústria 2 ? Both games do not have HDR
Reshade didn’t seem to hook and the program wouldn’t install Reno
If you mean HDR installer it needs to be added and installed manually if the game isnt in the database and and or it doesn't detect unreal

It should just be b8g8r8a8_typeless output size. For me, I get a brief flash of a red screen upon starting up the game but everything works after that. All settings maxed out, borderless window at 4K res on the Steam version

Hmm, this game I recall being better saturated before I updated reshade and grabbed the latest renodx for unreal so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong here. For instance, the world isn't blue at all and in game it looks washed out. it also doesn't have hdr native in the game btw.
Cant get NTE to work its super washed out unless i put upgrade on thats its doubly cursed saturated.
Followed the "bomb" instructions to a T and using the latest rr friendly build.
Any advice/ideas please?
im using clean engine ini and reshade ini from the "zip bomb" post and correct paths/read only attribs. rr on/fg on/dlss on 4k fullscreen win11 5090

that might happen. i ws looking at the nvcpi profiles...they threw a lot of unnecessary stuff in there.
it was the global rtx hdr on despite being disallowed explicity for nte! had to toggle off in game profile nvpi settings

LUTBuilder for Conan Exiles (UE Extended) and the fixed version of the same shader from the regular Unreal Engine RenoDX.
should be fixed. it was a minor spelling mistake 
@dusty girder is there anything i can do/provide to you that would help with UE-Ext support for Industria 2? defs too pretty a game to play without HDR 😢 Atm it causes some visual craziness with lighting and reflections

@tulip kayak shf had no issues, it was just to comment out their film grain; because extended film grain is better
stalker2 was because they had a custom contrast/saturation system that ran in the output shader; so ritsu returned early before that code would run

so they have an output shader that draws to a UI shader -> draw to the patched composite shader
if its 1 composite shader
you can just change that
the only issue is
the char menu right
so when the resource gets passed into the composite shader it should be in linear right
since all the UI stuff is decoding correctly

ui should be in gamma, and scene in pq (+ bt2020 colorspace)
scene becomes pq via lutbuilder; since we end on a pq encode
yes if you're in the game hence why if im not in character menu it works fine
but in this character menu the whole thing that's being fed into the composite shader is considered UI
which is why its borking out like this
even if it was UI, it should still look fine
part of the composit shader is gamma -> pq

you should make this block of code a function
inside the NVE folder, make a file name nve_common.hlsli (include postfx.hlsli inside of that folder, and then include nve_common inside of the nve shaders)
and make a function named something like

In generic/extended UE advanced settings there's a "Dump LUTbuilders" option
Turn it on, play the game a bit and you'll find a renodx folder beside the exe with the shaders
