- The game has no native hdr right? Do I still just enable hdr in windows, install reshade/reno and choose a preset ingame or am I missing a step?
- Is something wrong with the shaders? There seems to be no shader precompilation when starting the game, even after clean driver reinstall with ddu.
Everytime I play theres a crazy stutter for the first time I'm swapping chars, using skills etc. After that its smooth. Or in the character screen theres a small loading time when switching to another char, but only once per char per session.
But it doesn't seem like shaders are saved, happens everytime I start the game again. - Anyone else has a major stutter when opening the main menu? Happens every single time. I only know this from other games when frame gen is enabled but its off for wuwa

Try renaming reshade dll to dxgi.dll, then open the game and let the shaders compile. After that rename it back to d3d12.dll, let them compile and see it it helped. Unless you already have it as dxgi.dll, then just rename it to d3d12.dll
Also I think the stutter is to be expected to happen when you do things first time, it happened to be, but, as you said, later it was fine
Currently reinstalling the game, will try that when its doen. By let shaders compile you mean playing the game for a while, because there is no precompilation when starting the game right?
Yeah I expect the shader compilation stutter, but I have this every time I start a new session, like the cache is wiped every time I close the game. So it's fine for longer sessions but just playing for 10 mins to do dailies is not a great experience š
Maybe you accidentally disabled the shader cache in the driver
deleting the PO folders and the cache manually should trigger the precompilation
check the shader cache size setting in the nvidia control panel, not sure where to adjust it on an AMD card

matching SDR black levels is VERY important btw and it's not that easy with the new version
the game was made with sdr black levels in mind and there are locations that look crushed if you touch it
keeping SDR black level is mandatory for a vanilla + preset

u can in theory get a fluid combat experience if you never stop input
but the moment u stop input ur character freezes (theres 0 idle animation afaik)
and movement animations outside of combat also don't look that smooth

I was worried about highlight colour accuracy now that the slider for it is gone.
But the colours on the new version appear spot on. The sauce is strong with this one. ^^
