I've only just started the modpack and I'm to to sure as to the direction I should take. Just killed the boss that gave me the desert eye along with the bone chimera. Any idea what my general direction to gear up at least from where I am rn cuz I'm kinda broke

The beginning is probably the hardest part of the pack, my advice would be to find a place with pillager spawners and to set your spawn point there and go to town on em for a little while

If you’re lucky you can get some quick diamonds and netherite for future use

Overall just explore and pick up what you find

The time where you can start majorly gearing up will be after eye of core so I’d suggest farming pillagers for diamonds and getting the coral lance from Cornelia

The pack has a lot to choose from and there isn’t a single best way so I’d suggest just exploring it all… but if you want to follow along what I’ve done then I’d suggest getting precise parry, instant health, and strength

The coral lance from Cornelia could carry you throughout the entire play through but if there’s a weapon that looks cool then go out of your way to get it as all the weapons are fun to use

For items, enchanted golden apples can be crafted which can help a lot in a fight.. you will get a lot of gold overtime so don’t worry about the cost

Artifacts can be found almost anywhere so make sure to check a lot of structures, especially look for feral claws and power gloves as they’re pretty strong artifacts

There’s no wrong or right answer for armor so choose whatever you want but dusk fire is mostly agreed to be the strongest

Heart shield is a good skill to grind for

If you want a general guide… I’d say go complete up to eye of curse- get an advanced enchantment infuser- max protection on diamond armor and corneila’s helmet- max sharpness on her spear-repeatedly kill the leviathan and ignis

The reason I suggest to continually kill those two bosses is that the leviathan’s structure has a treasure room with iron,gold, diamond, and emerald blocks and ores (make sure to have a fortune 3 pickaxe)

Ignis has netherite and ancient debris in his structure but I won’t tell you where those are hidden

You can continuously farm those materials after killing the bosses as the cloud lands reset everytime you leave them

What do you think about the artifact should I exchange with the ferrygirl?

For regular artifact essences, you can get whatever suits your playstyle. I chose some sort of heart artifact that increased my damage, the superstitious hat to increase my looting, and the rusty guillotine to increase the damage I did to mobs below 40% hp

When you start getting the better artifacts essences, then if you haven’t found these in the world already.. you should look at feral claws, power gloves, sun stone, moon stone, and the crystal heart

But you should choose these artifacts based on your playstyle and what you think will help you the most with how you fight/go about your world
