Does this make holmium an infinite resource? Or do the holmium-sludge patches run out?
They should be infinite if I did not mess up the code
They work similar to nauvis oil patches
So mining speed will be lower over time but untill reaching certain point
Maybe you're aware, but Space age has an almost-symmetry where the planet-specific resources are finite (except for Gleba). Nauvis has uranium, Vulcanus has tungsten, and Fulgora has holmium, and Aquilo has lithium brine which are finite.
Though if you keep researching mining prod, they will be infinite anyway (and the resources for mining prod are infinite/renewable).
Carbon fiber is infinite
(oh yea nevermind just noticed that you said it XD)
So you think it should be finite?
Maybe? It might not affect the gameplay with how easy prod research is. I haven't played Space Age, so I don't think you should depend on my opinion too much.
Gleba also breaks the pattern, so you could just make it infinite I guess.
Let's just say I play space Age since I play factorio
and I never noticed that lithium brine is finite
