ik its not a normal question but can someone send me 2 mods as files because i acnt instal them because i have factorio from my steam family and it doesnt work. the mods are time tools and the one on the photo

ask the owner of the factorio copy to download it for you

if you play factorio through steam family, that means someone in your family has it. ask that person to log in in your PC and download the mod for you, or ask them to download it in their PC and copy them to your PC.

Cannot you just download it from mods.factorio.com and put it in your %APPDATA% folder?

they play with steam family sharing, they don't actually have a factorio membership status. someone else in their family does.

But anybody can register at facorio.com whether or not they own the game? Sure they won't be able to use the in game mod interface, but they should be able to download mods manually from the web site?

Don't you still need an account that shows you bought it?
Else anyone who pirated factorio could just get mods that way as well
