ive kinda built myself into a corner its probably not the messiest base in the world but routing materials is getting bothersome originally i had a pretty clean area from the mall to the oil but after a while ive kinda let go a bit i feel like im relying way too much on undergrounds to make it seem cleaner then it is any tips on making my base more orderly

there's organizational methods like
main bus: put all your resources going down a "highway" with easy access
cityblock (nasty): use modular train grid to move resources wherever they are needed
but mainly I'd recommend leaving more space between builds

also turning on alt mode helps you visualize it a lot better
it is messy but it does seem like you can get most of the resources out of the mess and to new builds

youre proabably right i normally play on deathworlds and i just cram stuff together this is my first time playing a normal world since the expansion it feels strange to have this much distance between builds even if its not actually that far
