as far as i see it, if you have something that's just straight up better, what purpouse are they serving

usually when i try to build with trains, i just end up running belts beside the tracks, cause that's enough troughput

but if they're not even good for megabasing in sa, then actually what are you doing

you say stacked items on belts are superior? I am asking not arguing, literally have no idea as I have never gotten to big thrroughput yet

i haven't actually megabased, but the consensus is that trains are not supperior to belt stacking and piping liquid metals

#

you can also pretty much just make items very close to where you need them, there is no reason for long distence transportation

#

as you get more mining prod, ores pretty much never run out, and the miners start to output more than any machine can handle

man SA got so much crazier with everything I wouldn't even think about that

and yet there it is like 1/3 of my city block making 48 belts of iron plates, takes very little of space and makes so much material
