My thought was that when the items are distributed very unequally between the wagons, the inserters might not find the filtered items in "their" wagon, at times.

More filters would mitigate that. But maybe it's barely an issue.

I'm just doing isolated testing in the lab, with quality bulk inserters I see a recycling speedup of 400 (finished products)

So I have seen item issue between the two cargo wagons
i.e. one has the item and the second does not, so I tacked this issue with the three select combinators but if you could give it more testing, would be great!
