I haven't looked at those in a long while, that reminds me of one feature Factorio doesn't have

without a need to attach them to a savefile

That would be pretty easy

create a separate folder somewhere then ..folder/profile_saves/{profile_name}/ would be where you put the saves

not sure of how im gonna store all the data

considering theres quite some files id need to store

and some files probably would be shared beetwen packs

while ..folder/profile_saves/belongs.json would be where you put the save names and which profile it belongs to there

if you want to share files between packs you can add an option in ../belongs.json which is like active_profile: ["{profile_name}", "{other_profile_name}"]
