#Signaling at an intersection

looks like a bit of a mess
in this upper area, you can move the rail signal earlier and remove the chain
the other chain can become a rail signal
Yeah, looks like you're better off designing a T or Y intersection and using that
in the bottom right you have a random chain after a merge that you can remove
you're allowing trains to stop in this crossing - normally people want to stop trains from being able to stop there, so it's always open for other paths
also not sure what purpose you have for these yellow chains
ideally i'd like them to exit the junction 100% of the time
i've made the modifications you specified
have an updated image?
i'm concerned about the lower track acting as part of the junction when a train is on it
would a signal help here?
something like this
can add chains here
since the left portion is bidirectional for a bit, doesn't look like enough space for a train
and the upper part also doesn't have enough space for a train
done
and then ideally change this rail signal to a chain
@brisk fox did you do this one?
Ah you just didn't move it
This can be rail as long as a whole train can stop at the next signal and not block the intersection
it can't, it's 4 long
Going left?
no right
yeah
wait i think i know what you mean
ok thats adjusted
actually you know what
ignore thos
this*
thats the end of the track
i have 2 signals, i want to allow trains to use the track up to the station
so as long as nothing is actively on the track the 2nd signal will read green
and allow a train up it
this is fine
