Steam has a 23GB total limit for Factorio data, though I have found that individual large save files also tend to cause issues even when you are not reaching that limit

Ngl this is honestly a GOOD thing if you're only using one computer
Steam cloud save has been known to have issues at times and if youre not using multiple computers then disabling it is a good idea

opening the game properties by just right clicking in the library over the game tells you how much is being used, but as said above large files can cause issues
