Yup, Cronus is meant to be analogous to Jupiter, with it's moons roughly representing the Galilean moons.
Thus:
Io - Mefitis (cryovolcanic world with Arsenical seas)
Europa - Aquilo (Icy ammonia ocean world)
Ganymede - Aiolos (a massive, thick-atmosphere world, with Aliphatic oceans - a bit of a hybrid between Titan and Ganymede)
Callisto - Feronia (not really analogous at all, but Callisto is described as the most colonizable Jovian moon. Feronia's life is solely floral, and utilizing iodine in its biosphere, hence why it is so purple)

I'm currently in the midst of a playtest, and have fine-tuned Nauvis, Selene, Vulcanus, and Fulgora. Only 77 hours in lol

It'll probably be ready for public consumption in a few weeks. All of the structures, fluids, and intermediates are implemented, but many of the recipes still require fine-tuning, and the technology needs fleshing out still. But things are reaching a mechanically solid and fun place

i think this is the first true new overhaul specifically made for space age

because for now we only had old ones updated or new variants of existing ones

also, we should discuss compat
due to my mod adding hurricane's buildings, most with the same function as yours

#

in the next texture updates hurricane will add color masks and i will probably recolor some buildings so at least the ones that use the same texture but have different structures may remain

but some will have to be merged in case of compat

I did a lot of custom piping overlays to Hurricane's buildings. I think they can be made compatible with ease through selective migrations and data updates

I also use some of the older versions. I intend to update to his newer assets, but need to figure out if they'll meet the intended functionality. (Like will the Synthesizer - Hurricane's oxidizer asset, which he has since updated - have enough pipe access)

I have heavily modified the base planets to account for new metals/fluids/recipes. Idk how compatible it'll be, but I can look into it

I have a lot of experience with modding, but still new to Factorio in particular, so I may need outside input once I get to that point

I have a dedicated discord server set up, and I'll invite you (and anyone else) to join it and participate in playtests once I've worked the remaining unfinished work.

Definitely will need input on recipe/tech balance, but my playtest is helping get it to a solid, playable state
