Or options for it to mimic an actual set of thrusters by consuming a set amount of fuel and producing thrust with efficiency

a "set amount of fuel" would be a little tricky since that would require me to throttle how much fuel makes it into the thrusters per second, so i went for full thrusters instead

i doubt one would need a slower than normal thruster tbh
