#Factorio space age 1k SPM rebuilding base advice asking.

I am now in factorio space age , planning to rebuild my spaghetti starter base after finishing flugora and vulcanus, basically to get electromagnetic + foundries + big miners + green belt.

and since i am not used to mega base and have never built organized base like city block and mainbus, and striaght up spaghetti for all of my run i don't know how to handle them plus don't know if they would work in space age,

so have any new organized design has been made that works well for factorio space age 1k SPM ? if so what it is and when making megabase or whatever , is there anything important to do and addition advices.

I wouldn't rebuild the old base. Build the new, faster one right next to the current one.
That way you have the production you need at hand.
There's no way around getting your own hands dirty. I'd go with a block design, because the compartmentalisation helps me not get overwhelmed.
For the designing, I spend a lot of time in the editor. The Editor Extensions mod makes it even more convenient, by setting up a Lab environment with Super Roboports and Infinity Chests. Allows one to focus purely on the actual designing part.

Not sure a BUS at 1k spm is comfy without SA, but with the shiny gear, it might be.

1k SPM is no longer a mega base in SA due to how things scale. Bus bases can easilly handle 1k SPM after upgrading to the new machines and throwing in a little quality.

yeah, that's fairly easy to do with space age

i had one small island on fulgora producing 5 per second i think

depends on who is building it and what the goal is
but gigantic trains leading to direct insertion i think is pretty computation efficient

if your goal is only 17 science per second, you can do pretty much whatever
