#calcite harvesting from asteroids
1 messages ยท Page 1 of 1 (latest)
here's what I got so far, definitely pre-alpha (obviously)
finishing up the processing. I'll probably make it support one thruster just so I can launch them from vulcanus
I dunno how big is too big, or if there is such a thing ๐ค
I guess maybe bigger means fewer platforms in the list
Heya, I'm finally a gamer who has access to asteroid calcite farming ๐
Asteroid productivity sounds ridiculously OP for stationary harvesters
I've redirected my freighter ship to just ship all science to Gleba to really research the hell outta the new Gleba science I have access to
be ready to redo all that once you have biolabs
hard agree this tech is very useful for calcite farming
And the next thing I'm going to be doing after that is buildign the gleba -> nauvis express
to blast gleba science over to Nauvis before it expires
that's good, but it's calcite harvesting in space part of that?
Nah calcite in space will mainly be for Nauvis and Gleba
okay, fyi I started this thread to talk about designs for calcite harvesting platforms
this lil guy has been reliable but I wanna finish the big one soon
I have finally reached the point where I'm beginning calcite platform construction ๐
behold the foundation
I'm currently repurposing my original first nauvis platform as the calcite harvesting one
that's a lot of crushers
Amazingly, at this size they're warranted lol
Platform outputs 200 calcite/min, and naturally buffers a ring of oxide asteroids when storage is full
neat
