ok so i need to place one next to where the assemblers are righ?

Assembler circuit output to selector combinator input.
Selector combinator output to requestor chest.

Assembler is configured to "read ingredients".
Selector combinator set to "stack size".
Requestor chest set to "set requests".

#

Then just change recipe on assembler to whatever you want and it will request a stack of each ingredient to requestor chest.

#

You may want to check the "trash unrequested" on requestor chest as well (I do).

Don't worry, this one is super easy.

giving it a try one sec

#

I have it like this, and set to stack size

#

but still only see this

#

Oh it just needed power

#

but what happens is it adds on top and this happens

You have an extra cable connecting input and output of your combinator. Delete that.

#

There should only be 2 Green cables, one from assembler to combinator input, and one from requester chest to combinator output.

damn didnt even know that mattered, works awesome, thank you very much !

#

so you have it like this included in your BPs?

neon smelt
#

Yeah, almost exactly.

#

Though, mine is parameterized in BP so I can set number I want to make and I have a limiter so it doesn't produce forever.

lets say you are gonna ahve a bunch in an area, is it better to have one and have all assemblets go through it?

#

like so

I recommend just dropping down that exact blueprint over and over, each independent from other nearby assemblers.

alright

#

thank you !

If you share the combinator, then every requester chest will request all items for all assemblers.

oh yea
