#Space Age Without Space - Factorio Mods
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Features:
- Adds Calcite, Tungsten Ore, Scrap, Lithium Brine, Fluorine Vents, Ammoniacal Ocean pools, Yumako and Jellynut soil (plus other red and green Gleba biome tiles that can be filled in with artificial soil), egg rafts, and Demolisher territories (with a bigger safe starting area than Vulcanus) to Nauvis.
- Removes technologies related to space platforms and space travel.
- Tech tree somewhat reworked. Moves Rocket Silo and Space Science Pack to the end of the tech tree. Launching a rocket is again the goal.
- Rocket Silo, Rocket Part, and Satellite recipes adjusted for a proper endgame challenge.
Known issues:
- Some map generation options exist but may have no effect on Nauvis. Gleba Enemies sliders do not seem to affect Gleba enemy generation.
- The victory screen congratulates you for reaching the edge of the solar system with a space platform when you have done no such thing.
Planned features:
- Making Demolisher territories optional and allow configuring the starting safe area size.
Always open to suggestions and feedback!
...so it's just Factorio: Age now?
Nice will test
0.0.4 just released.
- Overhauled map generation changes. Lava, Oil Sand, Sulfuric Acid Geysers, and Ammoniacal Ocean have been added to the map generation resources tab.
- Lava Processing is now a technology unlocked with Metallurgic and Production Science Packs.
- Foundation and Rail Support Foundation technologies have returned.
- Removed some irrelevant/impossible achievements.
0.0.5 released.
- Restores base-game victory screen
Could you show some screenshots of the world map?
Since I'm not home, here's some screenshots I found on a Korean gaming website
I want to improve it but so far fiddling with probability expressions baffles me
Would it be possible to change the way the map is generated to use the other planets, but make it so that nauvis is in the middle, aquilo is on north, gleba on the east, fulgora on the west, and vulcanus in the south?
I'm thinking if we can go really far into a direction, we should be able to find a biome that's exactly like the planets, without them mixing, so the logistical challenge would shift from planetary logistics to trains, but still be there, instead of having everything everywhere.
@sly pollen gentle bump, is this possible?
Perhaps theoretically, but then someone playing a ribbon world isn't going to have a good time in it
Ah, I didn't consider that.
