#heated pipes make heat

It basically creates invisible heat pipes under normal pipes, and matches their temperatures to the pipe temperature
interesting, does it just apply to pipes or machines as well?
ahhhh i see
This should be how it works in the base game ...
Yes it should!
Make a forum request!
Does it draw the energy from somewhere? Or is it free heating?
I thought about creating this mod too, but didnt know how to solve this
You can probably just set heat pipe heat value
Doing this properly in the base game would mean the fluids in the pipe cool down... Which some recipes may not like lol.
well first only make it happen with steam only?
and make it optional for the others? as in default it does nothing but with an extra option you could add it if its required.
Sounds like an additional challenge/constraint to work around! Recipes can accept a range of temperatures so some leeway can be given. If your fluids are cooling too much, don't transport them so far! Or add a heat pipe next to it. Or mods can add a reheating machine (boiler prototype can do this

I can imagine the pipes for this planet would be more expensive , on purpose? just for something to be able to contain the heat from the steam. If the planet is meant to be extra hard.
Thanks for the ideas 🙂
