I guess I have to include a description. So, the mod I'm making will feature a selection tool, which will lay tiles around rails with respect to how far from the track a spot is and which way will the rack be traversed by automatic trains. Currently I have completed the tool itself, I can select tiles, and in a single tick it will calculate where to put what tiles. The list of tiles right now is hardcoded to a rainbow. But I do want it to feature a GUI so that a user can select which tile goes how far. Then I'm going to make the calculation be spread across ticks, so it does not freeze the game, because the calculation for the image below took 17 seconds.
