would be cool if you could figure out a way to automatically remove underground belts that go past the deconstructed belts
Could you please elaborate, i didn't quite get what you mean by "remove underground belts that go past the deconstructed belts". Screenshot with an example will be very helpful.
Currently, belts will be removed if they are connected, either above ground or under.
like as you deconstruct a belt, they could search outwards for underground belts that go past them, and if there's nothing else in the way, remove them and replace them with regular belts
could see that having an additional performance impact though
yep, it will impact, i'll have to check each tile neighbours for that. I might do it in the future, i was thinking about adding an ability to remove adjacent inserters when removing belt, i'll have to check tile neighbours.
how about a feature where it removes your entire factory
you can call it "behemoth biters"
i can do that successfully myself, when my iron runs out on a world with rampant mod
