In the distance, some chunks are fully covered in ores. Each ore patch has a random bias toward some resource.

You can see that on the left. The biter chunk’s ore patch is copper biased.

A new version of the scenario is out. Trading with markets is now automatable! Blue chests are input and red chests are output.

So, I joined and tried out the plot mechanics, claimed two chunks of land and, uh, unfortunately accidentally wrecked part of the base.

I thought the biters were peaceful for some reason and was not at all prepared when I bought a biter plot so very deep apologies. 😦

that feeling when the patch is 1 tile too big for a miner to be in range. My hope of putting 2 miners, with chest in middle that feed furnaces are in shambles

A few hours of play: this mod is like a more refined dangOreus. I found that making electric miners around the patch, have that into belt, then have it picked by chest and then manually picking it up and bringing to large stack of manually inserted smelters is best. Only thing is that I think I went in one direction too much, as trade spots are asking for endgame stuff also medium worms are op, especially since I barely researched

Trade spots ask for random stuff. You can get offers where they request endgame stuff but also where they give you stuff you have not researched yet. It's true that in the beginning the medium worms can be quite heavy. Try going for AP ammo and a few bullet damage upgrades. If you're lucky you find a market that gives you explosive rockets early, those are quite useful as they have a good range.
