Yo Factorio fanss. I watched Nilaus his video with the application of the times:

At around 28:30 he explains how it all works. If I connect the timer to a "test inserter" then it does exactly work in the same fashion. However, if I connect to my "real inserters" nearby, it does not work. Even though I have the same network circuit number and condition for the inserter (N=0) it still does not work.

Show screenshots of what you've got; if it was set up exactly the same it should function exactly the same.

it works if you're picking up stuff from assemblers, chests or furnaces. One tick of N is not enough for an inserter to grab an item from a belt

Thanks for your help Ihmes, do you have a solution how to extend the thick? Maybe, let's say to give it 3 ticks time?

3 ticks won't be enough either. You need to do the math for how long the inserter takes to pick up a stack of items.
