I heard the the bobs logistic mod has super adjustable inserters. How do you use it?

How do I open it? It doesn't appear when I open the inserted. Is it a research?

There are usually multiple researches needed to unlock the full programable range of the inserters. Without the technologies you might just be limited to right angles. It might also cause "long inserters" to be removed as regular inserters end up being able to be programmed to work like long inserters or better.
