that would be overkill - 1 or 2 chests on the belt with ore will do the trick just fine
like that, for example
all ore that will end up in storage chests will be transferred here and consumed, use trash slots with ore for even better automatization of the process

IIUC - to get rid of random ore from inventory and storages

That’s what inventory logistics are for
Just set a request for 0 iron ore and bots will automatically take them from you and deposit them in chests that are filtered to take them.
(On a storage chest you can set a filter for certain resources, bots will prioritize taking them to chose chests first)
