ok
Originally there was no color highlight on the prod/consum machine column at all... to me that was preferable and I'm not sure why. The colors are almost an extra step for me to process, it could be some spectrum related disorder I guess.
if you still have the old version a simple idea could be
if (legacyMode) then
oldVersionCode()
else
newVersionCode()
end
a way to change colors would probably be best since it also solves colorblindness
how much more like FNEI are you going to make Recipe Book? in what way?
Yeah, I really like recipe book, but as long as you keep the current version I'll be fine
It's all colored though
you're right, but the coloring is quite different from one to the other.
(ignore the "lite", that's no longer there)
click to scroll noooooooooooooo
Don't worry, there will still be a page that will have all of them at once.
ah ok. tooltips there too?
nice ok that's a relief
Fun fact: the current version of recipe book actually has a click to scroll feature. Not many people know about it.
I like to see all the uses and products on a single list. I thought that was a very good and separating feature you had with RB
I used WIIRUF before RB, because it also lets you pick an item and display all its uses and production methods in one scrollable panel
Yeah that'll still be there, no worries.
I will likely add an option to change the default click actions to make it more like the current one.
I had swapped to maxrate on that exotic industries game, which was monocolor, rate calc classic wasn't on portal yet
Many people absolutely hate the recipe -> item -> recipe flipflopping. Going directly from recipe to recipe is much nicer IMO.
Ohhh I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
would it be feature bloat if I ask for a recipe multiplier setting in the single recipe display window?
Anyway, I'm sorry to throw so many changes out there, but these mods are my passion projects and I will always do what I like the most with my mods. Rate calculator and recipe book will be the two that change drastically, the rest will pretty much stay the same.
Yes. I'm trying to keep RB4 pretty lean.
The motivation for the rate calculator redesign came when I tried to use it for the first time in a while and couldn't figure out how to read my own interface.
of course, it's your right and I'm not one to infringe, but if I weren't to vocalize my distaste I'd be doing myself a clear disservice. I respect your autonomy, my dude. Keep up the passion
Thanks for being vocal. My ideas aren't all good so I need people to put me in my place on occasion!
o7, have a good night
