Hmm, for some reason the token it has does not match the one the auth server expects

Causing it to request a new one, and apparently get kicked back to the main menu once that's finished?

If that does not fix it, I am sort of suspecting something going wrong with the storage of it...

Is reinstalling the game an option?

at the moment it is not viable because I have limited internet

In that case verifying files through steam may work, though that would be the first time I'd see it solve anything :P

Alternatively, you may have to resort to downloading and installing mods manually from the website...

@trail viperHave you made a factorio.com account and linked it to your steam explicitly?

If you're using the automatic/mini-account system, making a "full" account might resolve the issue

I reinstalled the game and it didn't work

I posted on the forum

my problem was solved, I contacted [e-mail], I sent my current log and described the problem, Scott contacted me and solved it quickly, I didn't have to do anything, I just entered the game and I was able to update and download mods normally.
