#Ore Teleporter

that would make things too easy
Yeah, I know I've said something (buffer chests) don't really fit the tone of the game before, but I think this really doesn't fit the tone
maybe a special map/gamemode with cheat items like this?
definitely would be a very future thing though
Just going off previous comments about additions like this, the owner probably won’t add things like that to the game just because it doesn’t fit the general aesthetic.
Can be an end-game object!
Would definitely be a good mod
I just don’t see that being added like, at all
Because you can easily hack money for yourself anyway it’s basically like you’re just adding it to the game early game
Well its really about what the devs want. If they wanna add they will. If they wanna let someone make it a mod, then someone will eventually make one
Adding a drone mod soon that drones carry ore from port to port, it’s already finished just have to upload it
i can probably add it as a mod
Would be really cool! Make Sure to set the price really high for the end game! 😁 I suggest $500k/Teleporter
would be cool to have a sender / reciever, and you can set each pair to a certain color to match them up
Belts are great at teleporting ore
That kinda undoes the entire point of the game lol.
I think having satellite sales bins would be better - perhaps there's a few dotted around the map so you have a few options for where to route items, but they don't have the computer shop or anything.
teleporter doesn't make sense to add but the "Satellite Sales Bins" make more sense? lmfao
yeah, cuz adding another static location to sell items isn't the same as teleporting shit across the map.
Well, they would need to make the sale points actually lift stuff up to the surface
Satellites would just ruin the vibes imo
what
that's literally what i said lol
even made a suggestion for it: #1474363084704321637
Having more than one sell point wouldn't make sense either. The one sell point is fine and adds a particular challenge. I'd rather see more ways to transport materials, like rails and mine carts for example
Not satellite bins or sci-fi teleportation.

I'm sick of the amount of space/sci-fi themed factory games. Mine mogul is a breath of fresh air (albeit, in a cave🫣)
Please dont add a teleporter.
Well that's just because sci-fi is a much better theme for this genre lol
Also because factorio did it, and since everyone copies that game you might as well do the same.
Bro did a reaction without even explaining anything lol
What did you want me to explain? 😆
Your reasoning for hating sci-fi factory games lol
Or at least "being sick of them"
Its just been done too many times, its nice to see something different and not space themed
Fair enough, I suppose
I'm kinda biased since sci-fi is my favourite genre lol
But I have found two or three fantasy-themed automation games, which seem interesting.
What ones?
I think both of these could be done, as well. I made a suggestion for minecarts #1474361558170861568 (and I'm sure there's others), but it still gets far too cramped around the main area with all the shit you've got to build there.
I can barely even access the computer shop lol.
It'd be one advantage of having multiple sales locations, with another being some optimisation since things that aren't nearby don't aren't rendered.
I personally haven't had any performance issues, though - but I'm sure others have.
MoteMancer, Alchemy Factory, and Oddsparks.
Played the demo for the first one a while ago and it was neat, but the other two don't have demos.
Ive had fps drops with too much ore, thats been the biggest issue ive come across
Ha, I win because I didn't have that happen when I had that huge pile of ~1800 copper clusters lol
But yeah, physics can be taxing on the system. I think that's one reason most games avoid them.
Oh, no I had like 4000+ ore😆
Ive now set my limit to 3000, and I keep getting warnings of miners slowing down, or stop for abit etc
Its better, but I'm guessing alot more optimisations are on the cards
lol nice
Probably, yeah.
It's honestly a miracle that the game runs as well as it does rn.
Indeed
It's like when you find out satisfactory is made in unreal engine and go "how the fuck" lol
Thats another game that ive watched a few vids on, but I just can't get excited enough to want to play it
Pardon my punning, but would you say you prefer something more grounded?
